Announcing My Trip to Capernwray Hall!

Hello, dear family and friends!
As most of you know, I have been a Christian for approximately seven years now. I accepted Christ when I was thirteen years old after attending church with my grandmother and experiencing how true and good He is; and coming to the realization that He is the only One who can save me. Since then, I have been heavily involved in church, from serving in worship ministries, to being a part of college group and working in junior high ministries. Over the past year or so, the  Lord has really been guiding me to learn and to absorb his Truth in his Word more thoroughly, for "all Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work" (2 Timothy 3:16-17).

As a part of that mission, the Lord has made available an opportunity for me to travel to England this coming year to study God's Word at Capernwray Hall Bible School! The Bible school will last six months, with me departing in September of 2016 and returning in March of 2017. The Hall (pictured below) is located in Carnforth, England and the Bible School is put on by Torchbearer's International. The school's mission statement is as follows: "Our mission is to proclaim the transforming presence of Jesus Christ through biblical teaching and practical training, equipping men and women for service in His Church worldwide." My intention is to delve head-first into intense, thorough study of the Word, while experiencing everything that living in another country has to offer, and inevitably growing in my relationship with the Lord in the process. As an extra added bonus (because our God is simply that good!), I will have the opportunity to go through this experience with my very good friend, Arianna Amberg. God has blessed me with Arianna's friendship, allowing her to support me, laugh with me, and at times correct me so that I can be as strong in Him as possible. We have served together in church in several ministries (junior high, worship, etc.), and are so excited to have this  adventure to Capernwray as a team!

The funds for which I am asking will be used for the following:
Tuition - $9,400
Travel Expenses - $1,100
If you would like to make a financial contribution, please make checks payable to Sierra Haase, so I can deposit them into my Capernwray savings account. :)

In addition, and possibly most importantly, I would like to sincerely ask for your support through prayer. We know that prayer is such a vital part of our relationship as the Church with God (Psalm 145:18; Philippians 4:6), and my desire is that Arianna and I will be covered in prayer as we embark on this journey to better equip ourselves for service to God’s people. Please pray that we will receive all the funds we need, that we will be safe, and that we would have a whole-hearted trust in the Lord as He faithfully leads and guides us as we go. :)

I am so grateful to God for this opportunity, and the experience of growing both in knowledge of His Word and in true relationship with Him. My hope is to be better equipped as His servant when I return, to be then able to pour out to others what has been poured into me.
I truly believe this will be an irreplaceable, once-in-a-lifetime experience, and I am so incredibly grateful to all those who have taken the time to look into what it is that God is calling me to and doing in my life!
My heart is already so incredibly grateful for the community of amazing brothers and sisters in Christ that is surrounding me.

 Thank you for your support!

In Him,

Sierra
